Is Charles a 'better' name then Chad or Chadwick?

Question

I've known quite a few individuals in each of the name options and have been surprised by the differences in personality exhibited by each. Any thoughts as to why - historically/psychologically speaking?

I never heard of Chadwick b4 (although I should), but I think Charles is a better name in polite company, and Chad is a better name to be used when not in polite company.

Chadwick is a name whose history on English soil dates back to the wave of migration that followed the Norman Conquest of England of 1066. The Chadwick family lived in the parish of Rochdale in Lancashire. They were granted the lands near Chadwick in this area by William the Conqueror shortly after the Norman Conquest in 1066.

I personally don't like the name Chadwick as much as Charles or Chad but that's just me.

May I ask what personality differences you observed in each?

Charles is best.  Chad second.  Chadwick is a horrible name in my opinion.
