Do You Think Cheerleading Is A Sport? I Think It is,But Maybe It's Just Cause I'm A Cheerleader! My Dad And 2 Brothers,Told Me That Cheerleading Wasn't A Sport!!! Give Your Honest Opinion Please!

Officially yes....actually it's called an alternative sport. Ask your dad and brother to try the splits or do jumping jacks for 3 minutes and see how they feel....another card you can use is that cheering looks VERY good on college resumes.

Heck yes, its a sport! It requires strength, endurance, and a whole lot of other skills just as other sports do!

It takes hard work. Its not something just anyone can do.

Yes Cheerleading is definately a sport.

We go to compete against other squads in competitions like basketball players compete against other teams.

In cheerleading you can lift weights to be able to do stunts, like football players lift to be able to tackle other players.

not so much the cheering at footbal games but i mean reall hard core all star cheerleading. over 1/2 the people in this world cant do what they do

Yes it is a sport. There are rules to this sport especially competitive cheerleading like there are rules for all teams and then there are rules for each level. So to me YEAH!!
