I hear plenty of people say it's bullcrap and the claims are false all the time. Especially on here.

So, what is it exactly?

Can medical knowledge explain it?

And what applications does it have?

Why isn't more publizied and studied if it's real?

You get the point.

  2. It is just another false story to get your money.  There are no big foots, ghosts, witches, gods, supernatural powers, etc.

If you spent a quarter of the energy wasted on this stuff on real life issues.....

  3. No

  4. Can't prove it, but i can feel it.

  5. No, no studies have been able to substantiate the claims made about chi.

  6. The electrical activity of the heart can be measured by placing electrodes on the limbs. It is called EKG.

  7. absolutely not

    it's myth

  8. I studied Acupuncture for several years and I can assure you chi energy is definitely real!  There are many electrical instruments which can be used to find acupuncture points and measure their strength ie the chi whether it is strong or depleted.

Have you ever had a shock from static electricity?  Some people give off strong electrical fields around them.  When I was practicing acupuncture regularly I could sense the acupuncture points by a tingling in my finger ends from the person.  Certain people made could make me react without even touching them - they had really strong chi energy.

  9. Well anecdotal information means nothing. There have been no double blind experiments that have shown the presense of Chi.If it can only be "measured" by certain people at certain times in certain places or can be felt by persons without being able to amplify the signal or measure it in situ with even the most powerful detectors...kinda reminds one of the famous ( or is that infamous ) animal magnetism scams of Anton Mesmer, and the ability of a solution which by dilution has not even one molecule of the so-called active ingredient being able to evoke amazing results...As I have said over and over..in the realm of science believing means NOTHING..what does the evidence (  replicated , intensely reviewed, with major controls ) SAY.....Science deals with observable, measurable , natural phenomena...
