  1. They're doing great some sports. In judge-related sports, I happen to disagree.

Just because a sport is little-watched does not mean that the athletes achievements are less than someone competing in a sport that is more popular.

  3. I'm sure you might be interested in China's Beach Volleyball smashing the American team.

  4. You can't really win more than a certain number of medals for each competition.  For instance, for men's rings, Chen Yi Bing won gold and Yang Wei won silver, but they had no third competitor.  For weightlifting, China can only send one competitor for each weight class, so they can only win one gold.  For team table tennis, China's team can only win one gold medal.

In the events that they can do well in, they mostly have not disappointed, which is why they have the gold medals in the events they are expected to win in.  However, in the events they aren't really expected to win in, you'll most likely not see them compete very well and not earn a medal at all.  It's just a matter of China's culture relative to the rest of the world's, as China puts more emphasis for instance on badminton and table tennis, so they'll push for gold in those, but in sports that they are unfamiliar in such as the triathlon, they won't compete too well in.

  5. no, its just that some sports are more popular and showed more, therefore there are a lot of things you're not seeing
