  1. Doubt it.

I was recently involved with a non-profit group purchasing some very cool give-away/gift items to help with promoting their cause.

Well, despite contractual requirements for non-toxicity and State regulations, the paint in the zippers had lead in them.

They were sent back, replaced, and retested.  Bad news!

China's ruling/manufacturing elite doesn't have a culture of playing by Western rules.  They're more interested in making money today and quite honestly, s******g the rest of us in the process.  This probably won't go away until Europe, N. America, etc. rips China a new one OR a generation of new management goes to school in the West.

See also all the major product recalls that have been reported in the past year.  China doesn't report them, the Western companies and consumer testing labs do.  We'd probably freak and ban ALL Chinese products if we found out what's sneaking through.

  2. i dought it well they are doin some to help it but not much since they aint got a ton of money to spend. that they dont have a ton of money because on commys. i dont think they are doin much

  3. I don't think so.  They have too many power plant and that is whats killing the environment.  They also want to build more power plants.
