Is China wrong for shotting missles in to the sky to stop the rain?

i was reading that china is going to shoot missles in to the sky to try to keep it from rainging durring the olympics is this going to s***w the environment even more than it is already

They're not shooting missles at the sky, they are planning reverse cloud seeding, usually done with a modified crop dusting plane.  It's not going to harm the enviroment, lol
