  1. Her family were decended form one of Alexander the Great's Generals, when Alexander died his generals divided his empire between.  So Ptolomy got Egypt, and married his sister to keep the bloodline pure, that tradition continued until cleopatra's time.  her family was Greek

  2. She ISN'T anything.  She's dead.

  3. She was a greek, or Marcedonian is also okay i think.

As the last Pharoah of the Ptolemy Dynasty in Egypt, her ancestor was a general of Alexander the Great, whose empire split after Alexander's death. Ptolemy gained Egypt and started the Ptolemy family's dynasty.

  4. She IS no more but she WAS Greek

  5. Yes and no. Cleopatra was a twelfth generation Potlemic ruler of Egypt. Strictly speaking she was of Macedonian descent however born in Alexandria, Egypt she was 300 years removed from Greece.

  6. She was Macedonian and a descendant of Alexander The Great

  7. She had a bit of Persian ancestry through her ancestor Antiochus IV.  She also had ancestors in Thrace and Samos, but mostly Macedonian as mentioned.   Her paternal grandmother is not known (she only had one grandfather- her parents were half-siblings) but is believed to have been Greek, though if she did have any Egyptian blood that's most likely where it came in.
