When I hear the name Clifford, I think of the movie by the same name starring Martin Short. Brilliant show and so funny...watch it and then decide if it's a good choice.I hate it.

That name was used long before Clifford the Big Red Dog aired on TV. I'd say it's a nice, classic name and he definitely won't get made fun of by anyone who has any streak of kindness/likeability in them. Cliff Huxtable never got made fun of... why would your little brother?

Personally, I like the name. If you like Clifford, you might also like Edward and Stewart.

Edit: Why the thumbs down...? Honestly, does Clifford the Big Red Dog even play anymore? You can't just stop using a name because they used it on a TV character.

clifford thats such a funny name i had this friend and his name was clifford face it was such a funny name to me but if u want to name ur son clifford then fine do it its entirely up to u i think its a funny name because of clifford the big red dog omg sorry ur brother i thought it was ur son lol
