  1. No way I would take him, even in the 2nd round. Between the injury history and time share with Betts I dont see how anyone can risk the top of their draft with anyone with a spotty history. I would rather risk a 5th or 6th rounder on one of the rookies that seem to be going in those slots (Forte, Stewart and Smith) and draft top proven and healthy guys in the 1st 4 rounds.

  2. No but if your the 8th pick in a ten team draft he will be there  for your 2nd pick. His really a 10-15 pick. But in the eight pick you can get a better RB.

  3. I don't think he's a first rounder. He's more of a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

  4. You wanted Portis last season. Don't pay for last season's stats. Look for value. Look for Thomas Jones or Jamal Lewis or Matt Forte. All of these guys are available in rounds 3-4-5-6. Use your #8 pick on Reggie Wayne. Trust me.

  5. Well the thing with portis is can he stay healthy if he can he is a beast I had him in 04 and he literally won me 1st place so I think draft a more reliable back in the first round then draft portis because in most fantasy drafts he is still there in the early 2nd round.

  6. I hear ya, but Portis was durable last year.... The Portis device didn't break down, really.

He's the 7th or 8th back off the board, so early 2nd round is possible.

  7. Depends how many people are in your league, but I  would say as a skins fan he is a second round pick in a league of 10 to 12 people. L.T., A.P., Jackson, Westbrook, Randy Moss, Brady, Manning, Owens, etc. should go before portis even through he should have a great year being back in the west coast running offense

  8. A better value is Jamal Lewis in the 3rd round.Lewis is meaner+leaner

then last year. And the Browns' o'line is maturing/improving.Portis' ADP

(Average Draft Position) is 1/10 (round 1,position 10)...While Jamals' is

3/7...(I actually like Jamal BETTER then Portis this year.)

    ~G{}{}d Luck!~

  9. With the 8th spot, I'd say picking Tom Brady or Randy Moss makes more sense, but if you take a RB, Marion Barber will be the best available.

  10. i think he is more of a 2 round draft pick.. but thats just me.

you dont need to do what magazines do, or people on here. Do what you think is best, if you think someone else is better then move him down. No big deal!

  11. si...late 1st rd or early 2nd at the least
