Is College Board really better?

i was thinking of using Gruber's Complete SAT Guide 2008 v(but 2009, when it comes out) to prepare for the SATs because the 2008 version has gotten really great reviews. however, some people say the college board prep books are better because they will more actually teach to the test. which would you suggest?

also, when do they release the 2009 editions of sat prep books?

Some people swear that College Board's book is better because in fact they are the one who create the tests. However from my experience, I've noticed the College Board book to be too easy compared to the actual test. I personally recommend using Barrons as they are one of the leaders of academic preparation and their material goes over and above the required information, which over prepares you for the test. However this means NOTHING if you do not like the book yourself! What matters first is that you can actually UNDERSTAND and that you will actually READ the book.

Usually they release the 2009 versions around jan or sometimes june.
