  1. If you're going to have a colonic make sure it is done by a professional as they have the proper equipment and safety.

Benefits: clears your entire colon, stimulates bile dumps which bind toxins for elimination, can help lower serum cholesterol with proper diet.

  2. those 'monster pictures' those ads are showing are the parasites, worms in almost, basically everyone's colon.  Those shots of those monsters are magnified like 10,000 times.  You will never see worms or parasites with the naked eye.

Removal of those are recommended and safe.

  3. Monster Picture?

But yes colon cleansing is safe and effective for weight loss as well as energy enhancement...just don't over do it.

  4. It can be,but here are some dangers of it.

Many of the formulas are so powerful that they have many different herbs used that are not for everyone. For example Milk Thistle is an herb that is mostly for the liver and kidneys, but the enzyme that breaks it down is the same enzyme that breaks down medication so it can cause an overdose if you are on medication.

Their are so many dangers from this depending on the product. Some of these are addictive and can really mess up your body.

I'm a professional herbalist and there are safe ways to do this. What I would do is use one herb at a time and make sure you know about warnings on it. Such as goldenseal is only to be used for about 10 days because it cleanses nutrients out too and for some other reasons.

I would for me,not you you have to see what works for you, use Apple Pectin,Fenugreek,Spirulina,Coffee,tabasc... sauce in water chased with water, red clover, dandelion, alfalfa, orange juice and maybe others. For me these are all safe and have good effects. BTW coffee should always be arabica beans as they have less acid and less cafein. Also there is a report that coffee can lower colon cancer risk.

What is most important for me is to be hydrated, but don't go crazy and to take spirulina, alfalfa, orange juice and yogurt as this keeps balance of vitamins, minerals and good bacteria in small intestine.

    Good luck and be safe!

Ps. Wild Oregano and olive leaf extract are known to kill bacteria, virusses, parasites and worms. American Herb and Spice is the best producer of Wild Oregano in my opinion.

  5. It can be safe but also can have implications. As a rule of thumb i stay away from them! Instead, increase your fiber intake...bran, blueberries, almonds etc. Also apples are a major key...u can never eat enough of them for clensing the colon. It's true what they say "an apple a day keeps the doctor away!". Also walk alot. The movement of the body up and down interacting with gravity will loosen up material that can sometimes get gummed up in the system!

  6. Well I was all for it until my girlfriend had it. Now she has nothing but trouble Poo-wise and has had to have an op. But could just have been a coincidence. Good luck whatever you decide.

  7. You don't need to have your colon cleansed.

Eat plenty of fiber and drink plenty of water. Your colon will cleanse itself every day.

  8. It will make you feel better and lighter, but it is uncomfortable because there is a tube and water being pumped up your backside. As far as safety I would find a reputable place through your medical provider. Doing it frequently can also negatively impact your digestive system, because along with the bad stuff, good helpful bacteria that breaks down food is removed from your system.  Afterwards I suggest eating yogart or taking active culture supplements to replace some the bacteria lost.

  9. colon cleansing is safe as long as the person aiding you knows what they are doing if your unsure ask your GP or someone who has had it done without complaint good luck

  10. yes it is safe but only in moderation
