Is Connect 4 rules more similar to blackjack or baseball?

Meaning.... when one player connects FIVE in a row, does that mean:

a) like in blackjack, its about precision, because one went OVER 4 (or over 21), that it does not count as a win, or...

b) like in baseball, when more is simply BETTER, such as a team winning 17-2 instead of 5-2

So... A or B?

  1. It's like neither.

It does not matter if you get over 4, you are not penalized or rewarded more. It's just the same as getting 4, which is what matters.

  2. It is more like baseball, because if you connect five in a row it does count.

  3. five in a row would be better I guess.  If I was going to compare it to anything it would be  tic-tac-toe.  If you drew an X on the side of the board and then you got a tic-tac-toe in that row you would still win.  I guess it would be like baseball

  4. im sorry that i cant explain how but im 98% sure it \

    b: like in baseball
