Is Costa Del Sol region a dead-city after mid September?

we are young couples and are going to the costa del sol, Spain around mid-september, i'm wondering if this region is still good for that period of time or very calm and no touristic.

It will still be busy with tourism from the UK, but the Spanish go on holiday in August, they will all have departed by then. I live here and September or October is my favourite period.

The costa these days is never really dull or quiet, September is still classed as being in the peak season here, weather good, plenty to do, etc., plenty of entertainment and a lot to see...............have a nice trip.
