It can be, but you'll need a good bit of Spanish if you're really going to live there.  Many Americans end up working for the "Sport Book" online betting companies.  Biggest problem is that too many people down there are looking to take advantage of Americans... you'll always pay more than the locals, and too often you end up paying their way, as well.  buenas suertes
