Is Costa Rica more expensive then thailand ?

im talking everything from the hotel, to the beer,girls and food

im thinking of going to San Jose .......

I've been to both and i honestly think Thailand is cheaper. Costa Rica is one of the most expensive countries in Central America, whereas Thailand is one of the cheapest in South-East Asia. A hostel in a very bad part of a neighborhood in Costa Rica can run you more money than one in a bad part of Thailand. Food is by far cheaper in Thailand. Street food in both countries is cheap, but Thailand is cheaper. Many restaurant in Thailand are cheap, its not rare to see full plates of food running for only $1-$2. Many places in Bangkok are cheap, but its even cheaper in Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Phuket. The girls are cheaper in Thailand, reason being many girls in Costa Rica are part of a "group" run by someone who gets a good share of the money they make. As for beer, i think its about the same in both. San Jose, by the way, is overrated and is one of the, if not the most, expensive areas in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica colones are between 400 and 500 to one dollar U.S.  Yes, it's more expensive than Thailand. If you haven't been to Costa Rica, there are many more pleasant places to visit than San Jose.

I think not. Latin America is so cheap.

I have gone to Bolivia, Chile and Bolivia, and know that all things are very cheap, mainly travel tickets.

Thailand is definitely cheaper, but it will cost you more to get there.
