  1. No. County Cork is a county. Cobh would be the port.


  2. Cork has a huge harbour, the ferryport is at Ringaskiddy, and of course there's the old harbour at Cobh, which was formerly known as Queenstown, and was the last stop of the ill-fated Titanic.

  3. Cork city has a port as the Lee river runs right into the city and is wide enough for shipping and there is a port in Cobh which is the last place that the Titanic stopped before it sunk but the whole county is not a port

  4. The county is not a port.  But it does have a huge natural harbour, which is a fairly major port.
