  1. Creatine is obviously very helpful for giving your muscles more energy and I'm sure everyone knows how beneficial it is already. Creatine stores additional ATP in your muscles which gives them more energy and allows them to work at their hardest for longer. Creatine is safe as long as you read up on it and know how to take it (i.e. the loading phase and maintenance phase).

One of the minor side effects is minor water retention in your muscles. The water retention will usually make your muscles look bigger, and might make them a little softer, but the softness is not very noticeable. Unless you take creatine without working out that is, then your muscles might get a noticeable extra amount of water retention. There aren't any real negative side effects of creatine unless you have a weak liver.

The only possible negative side effects of Creatine is that it might slow down your bodies natural creatine of creatine, which comes back to normal once you stop taking creatine. And it could possibly cause liver damage. Normally your liver will be completely fine though, unless you are old(40+) and/or have a history of having a weak liver then there are pretty much no negative side effects. Seeing as you are 17, your liver should be fine, and there should be no negative side effects.

  2. creatine is good but it has side affacts towards your liver.

  3. depends monohydrate has side effects but ethyl ester doent have as many ie bloating , cramps however u wont look as big its up to you i would say go for it but have 8 glasses of water a day /.

  4. There are short and long term risks in taking creatine, including possible kidney damage.  I am attaching one site I found on the net for you to read.  Be very cautious in taking this kind of supplement.  Your health is more important than looking good.

  5. Your body produces creatine so it is safe to use only for a coup;e of weeks otherwise your body will stop producing t if you over use it
