  1. Never heard of him.

  2. He is most definitely good enough to fight in the UFC, as for him being a contender or champion, I believe that is an entirely different story.

He has a very unorthodox striking style and very fast and tricky kicks, but his hands are subpar and he leaves himself open for big shots. His wrestling is solid but his submission skills are weak at this point.

He is exciting, but he got into MMA way too late into his career.

  3. He's good enough to fight in the UFC if its a pure stand up fight.  The guy fights out of San Jose and for Strike Force (Based out of San Jose) which has been hyping him, giving him all stand up matches (too easy for a kick boxer/sanshou fighter).  He goes to the UFC and he's gonna get tested.  Mostly likely he'll get taken down and pounded.  Put em with anyone thats not getting paid to stand up with him and he'll probably lose.

Middleweight? See what happens if he were to fight someone like Dan Henderson/Anderson Silva/ Wanderlei (if he goes down weight)

  4. Can he?.. Yes he is a world class striker. Since he trained in SanShou he knows how to do take downs and defend against them. Much like Chuck Lidell. I can't say how well he would do on the ground since I've never seen him do ground work. But I think he would be a legitimate opponent for Anderson Silva. That would be a good fight to see.

  5. yea he is. frank shamrock is a crazy fighter, and he out struck baroni who has 2 of the best knockouts in the ufc. so even though hes a ground guy he still has good strikes and cung le punished him on the feet. cung wont be on the top of the middle weights in the ufc but he can certainly beat alot of them. hes small though i think he could be 170. he always weighs in at 183. a good match with cung for middle weights would be patrick cote.

  6. nope he is way too overrated

  7. Sure he beat Frank Shamrock and Frank could still fight in the UFC.

I would match him up with Chris Leben and see what happened.  Would Leben break him down with his brawling or would Le break his arms with his kicks.  Would be an exciting fight I think.

  8. no he's not his stiking is out standing but im not to sure about his ground game.the ufc has top class bjj but elite xc has yet to prove that and provide cung lee with that challenge. yes shamrock was a grappler but his pride got the best of him and he took the fight standing up.

  9. Cung Le is good enough to fight in the UFC...Is he good enough to hold a belt there: no.  Great hands only get you so far, let's see him on the ground.  Cung Le against GSP.

  10. whomever doesn't know him or those that said no all i can say to that is wow h**l yeah cung le is the next level  san shou (sp) is insane (google it) le has been fighting pro for a while he is no stranger in this game the question is?

Is the UFC ready for him. I think some of you have hit your head
