But I expect you mean is the improved audio worth the extra money. Go into a retail store where the have demos set up and you can listen and decide for yourself.

Yep!  It will be available in your favorite colors, as long as your favorite colors are black and white, or even better if your favorite color is clear.

P.S.   It's strange your radio is still black and white.... Everything is in full vivid color when it leaves the station..... Perhaps your radio does not have that "secret color button" that most of the newer radios have.
