Is DHL's estimated delivery date always correct?

Question

I have a phone coming in the mail and dhl is shipping it the last tracking info i have is the estimated delivery is 3/18

but i want it to come today, and the last info i have is the shipment was pickup yesterday at 11:56am in fort worth texas and i am in Richmond,Va is it a possibility i can arrive earlier

In five years of running a business i found the estimated delivery date is the actual delivery date.  Typically if you want the item sooner you have to pay extra for two day or overnight.  Of course you may get lucky and have it before the date just do not be surprised if you don't.

I wouldn't bet on it. In my experience when they give you an estimated date it will come on that date or later, but hardly ever earlier.
