Is DJ Khaled a producer ?

I just listened to some of his songs, he doesn't rap, he just says "We the best" and he doesn't produce, the beats are Cool & Dre's. So what is he ?

no he just says we the best his career went down the tank just like Joe did when Pun died he doesn't even make beats anymore he has other people make them for him....

he creates the beats in his songs and he gets other people to sing them (mostly Kanye West and T-Pain) and he shouts We The Best! at the beginning of every song but thats pretty much all he does. hes never rapped in any of his songs, just creates the beat.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.  If The Runners and Cool & Dre are producing all the beats, then what's he doing?

I think he's the biggest self-promoter in hip-hop since Mike Jones.  He's just tryin' to get his name out there by hookin' up with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Pitbull, T-Pain and every other rapper that's popular right now.

But he is pretty much the reason Rick Ross is what he is today, and "I'm So Hood" was probably T-Pain's biggest hit, so he's helpin' other artists too.  He's also bringin' up newer guys like Ace Hood.
