Is DLP rear projection better then a LCD rear projection TV?

This depends on your preferences as both technologies have their advantages and disadvantages.

LCD does not have as good a contrast ratio as DLP sets do, but LCD can have potentially better color.

But DLP has more potential for better picture than LCD, especially with the Mistubishi LaserVue system that employs a laser for the light engine instead of a projector bulb.
