  1. Absolutely not!

    DVD-RAM is a re-writable format.

    DVD-R (and DVD+R) are write-once formats.

    The other re-writable DVD formats are DVD-RW and DVD+RW.

    DVD-RAM is the least compatible with the other formats.  Few DVD players can play video recordings made on them.  DVD-R and DVD+R are the most compatible with DVD players (DVD-R has a very slight edge) followed by DVD+RW and DVD-RW.


  2. its dvd rom and yes technicaly after its burnd it means read only memory
