Is Dale Jr starting to slip--like old times?

24th, 8th, 16th in the last 3 races since his win. What has happened to him lately??

Kyle meanwhile has won 3 of the last 4 and stretched the lead big time. Jr never does well at Indy so when do you think his slump will end, or is he slipping back into old form

  1. it doesnt matter how far he slips after richmond the points get reset

  2. oh! no, no, no!

    He's slipping like never before!

He's slipping in a HMS car.

Soon to slip at a race track near you.

  3. What? He's SECOND in points! After 26 races they start over, so what's the difference? The lame final ten races determine the championship. Shrub has yet to see his run of bad luck for a few weeks in a row. It will happen.

  4. yes, he is slipping and it is because he is not that great of a driver!

  5. The 24th finish not his fault.  (wrecked)

The 8th  not to bad,  didn't want to be up with with idiots, Do you blame him?

16th.   Bad set up in the car.  Never got it.

Don't think he is slipping. I think he will finish in the top 10 this week.

  6. Yes he is.

  7. I hope so..

  8. Uhh No. The 24th he got wrecked (wasn't his fault), the 8th, how is that bad? And the 16th, not very good set up.

I sincerely DOUBT that he is slipping. He is 2nd in points, does THAT show slipping?

    Go Dale Jr.!!!

    JUNIOR NATION!!!

  9. Losing momentum is whats happenin.

  10. Where is he in the points???

    Ahhh, I thought so!!

  11. Wow, someone needs a life..

    Have a nice day..

  12. i dont think so

he's still got plenty of time

  13. I think it is to soon to tell. The 24th place finish he was wrecked, the eighth was a good race for him. The last one was not soo good. Meanwhile though, in those three races, he went from third in points to second. So actually, he did indeed move up one spot. The Brickyard is not exactly a good track for him either. If he does well this weekend, it will definitely mean he is not slipping. If he doesn't, (not because of a crash) that will be fairly consistent for him at this race track. I guess we will just have to see how it all plays out.

  14. Circumstances make someone slip.  In addition to luck.  He is not loosing his skill in my opinion.  He is second in points and that is the best he has done in a really long while.

  15. 24th - wrecked by McMurray - not Jr's fault and definitely not a sign of Jr slipping.

8th - what's wrong with that? How is that slipping?

16th - this one is hard to tell. Tony Eury Jr admitted after the race that the team just plain missed the setup on the car. But still, this is only the second time this season (the first was at Texas) that they have missed the mark that bad.

Jr is having a GREAT season. I doubt he's slipping.

  16. the 24th place finish, he got wrecked by McMurray, while both of them were running in the top 10.

What the h**l is bad with finishing 8th?

16th, they had a bad race.

Was Kyle Shrub starting to slip when he had a Bad finish at Pocono? Did he forget how to drive?

  17. Yes and it couldnt happen to a nicer guy ha! Ha!

I hope all four Hendrick cars get wrecked or blow up on a regular basis :^)

  18. no hes not

    hes 2nd in points

he has one points win and one other win so far this year

24th he was involved in someone else's wreck

    8th is a great top 10

16th is not bad but just wasn't a great week for him

kyle is just to consistant so far this year
