  2. No, until somebody beats Jimmie Johnson for the championship HE is carrying the banner for not only HMS but for the Sprint Cup Series in general!  Don't forget about the back to back champ, he is trying to make history by tying Cale Yarborough.

  5. He was for most of the season but now that he is no longer the highest hendrick driver in points he isn't. Jimmie is.  

  6. Jr is fading, JJ is coming on strong.  Jimmie is the defending champ, so I would say the he is the one carrying the banner.
