He is just an average looking bloke who happens to play some good footy.That doesnt make him hot or nything i reckon.If anyone (from rugbys prospective)deserves to be called hot..it surely has to be matt dunning :)

I think the Jockeys play a part because it has given him a high profile off the pitch as not every girl out there may watch rugby avidly so they may like him because they know who he is. That is not insulting the discretion of girls because many guys liked Anna kournakova for other reasons than her tennis skills...

I think there is a bandwagon effect where some girls like him because their friends do.

He also has pretty boy looks so he has a wider appeal to younger audiences than probably those with rugged looks like Richie Mccaw.
