Is Danica Patrick racing at Indy this year?

Just to go along with everyone else, yes, Danica qualified for her 4th Indy 500.  She is in the middle of Row 2 (5th overall), and is the fastest American (behind a Kiwi, a Brit, and Aussie, and a Brazilian) in the field with a qualifying average of 225.197 MPH, or .8253 seconds (elapsed time - 10 mile qualification attempt) behind Pole-Winner Scott Dixon.

Her Andretti-Green Racing teammates are in 6th, 7th ,& 9th, so all four AGR drivers are in great shape to start the race.  This may be her best effort in her 4 years at the track ... she's relaxed, she's got more confidence with a win under her belt, she's got a great car under her, and she's been bad-fast most of the month.  She's also been quiet - almost under-the-radar, stealth-like - which is great.  Plus, Indy is one of her better tracks.

Yes, she will race and will be very close to the front for the race. She was on pole for a short time on pole day, but she dropped back a bit. She will be starting in the middle of row 2, the 5th starting spot.

Yes she will.  She will also be available at a FREE Drivers' Autograph Session in the Pagoda Pagoda on Community Day (Wed. May 21.)

(You WILL have to pay a $7 admission charge to the track, though, but children under 5 are free.  There is no IRL activity on the track on this day.)
