Is Darwin ever going to get an NRL team?

Are there plans to have an NRL team in the Northern Territory?

I doubt it, it may have something to do with crowd numbers on a weekly basis.  As rugby league is now a business, it would have criteria to some extent on having a minimum number of people attending home matches.  We cannot cite South Sydney as an example, as they won a court case to be re-instated into the competition.
