Question:

Is David Garrard the best value QB in the AFC?

I'd like to hold off until the 5th or 6th round to pick up my fantasy football QB. That leaves out Brady, Manning, Palmer, Anderson and Roethlisberger.

I've been able to pick up Garrard in the 8th round of 12-team mock drafts.

  1. Yea i think thats a good idea and im doing the same thing and im tryin to pick up Garrard too bcuz i think he should be a stud this year and by next year he should be in the 2nd tier

    So yea go with Garrard

  2. You would sure think that Garrard would be a great value this year.  He has a great QB rating, good receivers, and a good O-line.  But he has had those things every year and it has never made him a solid fantasy player.

I would love for Garrard to be my backup but I won't take him as a starter unless I take someone else right around him comparable in ADP - like Eli.

Waiting until the 8th round in 12-team league sounds like a gamble to me anyway.  I bet in a real draft someone takes him before that.

  3. garrards value is indeed very high, but i like jay cutler more.

  4. Yeah, hes awsome cause he doesnt throw vary many ints.  Also you may want to look a Derek Anderson and Phillip Rivers.
