Brokaw for now, but I doubt he'll want the job long-term.

Gregory isn't terrible, but he's just no Tim Russert.

It's a sad call :(

He'd probably have to give up the White House beat, and I'm not sure that would be a great idea. He's probably the most recognizable name among TV reporters there.

I would guess they'll rotate some people in once the election is over and Tom Brokaw goes back to retirement.

I hope not! Tim Russert deserves to be followed by a man of integrity, intelligence and a rapier wit. Three items Gregory does not possess. Of course, he would be better than Matthews or Olbermann.

They announced Brokaw would do it through november.  I thought Gregory might,was hoping for Olbermann.
