  1. He leaves himself open to much & isn't a big enough guy for this division. He will beat the bums & the guys past their prime but not any legitimate heavy.

He was very smart about it though & I think his people new that if they could win some titles at Cruiser then move up to heavy he could put himself into position to fight the big names. Its smart cause even though he cannot beat any of the big guys, he can still get the big paydays.

  2. I would not count him out just yet, he has improved a lot since his last (only) professional loss,he is a hard hitter and he has a lot of heart, his style offensively is very good and his defense is decent, however if he wants to succeed at the heavy weight level he will have to add some weight in order to hang in there with the big boys, if he manages to mantain his current hand speed and overall speed he will be fine, Haye is a smart boxer and I know he would not try to trade punches with someone like wladimir klitcshko or samuel peters, speed  and power are his main assetts if he can add weight without loosing too much of either he will become a great heavyweight.

  3. not right away

  4. Don't discount Haye just yet.  He's got the handspeed to give any of the big lumbering heavies a BIG headache.  If Haye can keep his defense tight and keep focused for every second, I think he could beat any of the heavies by decision.  HOWEVER, the dude really needs to work on moving his head.  As of right now, his chin is easy to find.

  5. David Haye has something that 99% other heavyweights don't have and that is speed. He does not need to gain more weight in order to beat other heavyweights, his weight in his only heavyweight fight so far was at 217, so he is a natural heavy, and some people seem to forget that some of the greatest fighters of all time had a similar height and weight ratio: i.e. Evander Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, and Joe Louis. Haye is going to have the Heavyweight division looking squeaky clean when he’s done.

  6. He is afraid of Samuel Peters.
