  2. No, I don't think so. I've heard it used many times by people who aren't Jewish. I think it's a fantastic name, and is used by everyone.

  4. It is a boy name, and it comes from the Old Testament, so I'm sure it is used pretty frequently by Jewish people.

    But in America its used a lot by everyone else as well. I know five different guys name David, and none of them are Jewish.

  8. I can tell you my cousins name is David, and yes he's jewish.  So, from my opinion, yes.   But not everyone who's named David is Jewish.

  9. Nope. All the Davids I know are Catholic.

    That doesn't mean it's a Catholic name, just that I know mostly Catholic people.

    David is a name from the Bible (OT), so any religion who uses it will probably be inclined to name their child David.

  16. Not neccessarily. The Davids I know... not one of them is Jewish. I go to a mainly Jewish school, and the ones I know well's names are Andrew, Spencer, Charlie, and Jacob.

  17. There are 3 Davids in my husbands family and none of them are Jewish,we also know at least 15 more who are also not Jewish.
