  1. it depends on what you mean for "good"... if you mean cheap, the answer is NO! fors sales you have to come here in january, after the 8 i think.

but if you mean fun and full of things, then YES, december is the best month to go shopping!

christmas fills shops with every kind of object and new collections of dresses, shoes, bags...

plus... it's so lovely walking around and watching products here in milan, with your hand in your lover's one!

  2. You can usually shop very good after the 6th of january. We have special discounts in Italy, and you will find everything from 20% to 60% less than before.

It is better for you wallet...

    =)

  3. Every period is good for shopping! Moreover in December there's lot of Christmas stuff in shops.

    p.s. I'm Italian!

  4. the best time is late july and early august that is when everything is on sale, December it all depends on where you are shopping because of the holiday.

  5. depend, price are not cheap because people buy many presents!

  10. if you go to the outlets (there are all over Italy), any time is good

there you can purchase discounted goods from Armani, Gucci, D&G, Valentino, and other top firms

  11. it depends on what you mean for "good time", the sales always begin in january after 6th. December is Christmas shopping month and the prices are bit high.

  12. We were recently vacationing by Lake Gardesee, and they advertised a lot of Christmas festivals, where shopping was one of the features.

Check the towns flea markets-these have new and used items, and are inexpensive.  I live in Germany, and in a small town, we cannot get name brand clothes, but I found a lot of name brand things that were pretty inexpensive.  The English people were going crazy-they bought so much!

  13. hi.....I'm Italian......i think that is good time for shopping on genuary and august...

  14. after 6 january is better... there are discounts...

  15. December absoloutly is a bad period for shopping, as it is so close to Christmas...

Our winter sales usually start in January, after the 6th, but the actual date depends on each region!

Approximatively they all start during the week after january, 6th!

The more you wait after this date, the bigger will be the discounts, but, of course, you will have less choice ;-)

  16. any time is a good time ,Italian shoes..oh yes please....

  17. any time is good really! but don't go too close to Christmas, cuz us Italians have a habit of doing everything at the last minute, especially Xmas gifts!!! If you go in the

beginning/middle of the month it will be perfect, cuz all the shops will have their best stuff out, and the holiday craze won't have started yet. Good Luck!
