Or is it TOO COLD and SNOWY to enjoy it? I want to visit Old Montreal (the French part), but I can only go at the end of December. Is it a good time to visit or is the snow and cold weather unbearable? I'd like to also take one of those 60-minute city tour things.

  1. If you like really cold weath, its beautiful but really cold so if you cn take the cold year go for it

  2. No it's not too cold to do stuff. You might not be able to do the cold weather activities yet like ice skating outside. Bring a warm coat, hat, scarf and gloves. The worst months of the year are February and March.

If you are lucky enough to get snow in december you will find it really beautiful.

  3. It is cold.  No way to avoid that.

But, I can tell you the spirit of Christmas in Montreal, is like I have never seen elsewhere.  I believe that the abundance of snow has also something to do with it.

I have spent Christmas in Paris, far prettier displays, and decoration.  But again,

Montreal during December feels even more magical.
