  1. I was told by a friend in Fortaleza that Delta was adding non-stop service from Atlanta to Fortaleza, but can not find it anywhere on their website.  There is a press-release that talks about expanded service, but it is all to Sao Paolo.

Your best bet (if price is not a factor) is to fly to Manaus and connect to your final destination.  TAM flies from Miami (partner with American Airlines) and some other airlines fly via another connection in Latin America.  You will save 8-9 hours as compared to flying to SP.

  2. You can take a flight to Salvador by TAM Airlines from Miami and after a conection to Recife.

    Salvador x Recife = 1 hour flight

If you´ll go to São Paulo, is more 3 hours from USA and more 3 hours São Paulo x Recife.

The ticket from Manaus is more expensive and you have a conection in Brasilia.

  3. No, only charter flights.

You have to go to Sao Paulo or Rio.

Some flights to Brasilia, but it's better São Paulo or Rio.
