Well, he’s been entered for the big race at Cheltenham, the Argento Chase. As ever Paul Nicholls is keeping his options open and could switch Denman to either the Aon at Newbury or Irish Hennessy at Leopardstown the following weekend. It appears that Nicholls is worried in case the forecast of a return of the bad weather comes true and those other meetings are wiped out. He’s also got Taranis in there – but he’s been off the track for over two years – and a novice called Inchidaly Rock.
