Is Deromantic a famous band in Canada?

My friend sent me a song of theirs. I checked out their web site but it's hard to understand what kind of a band they are.

What do you know about them if any?

Deromantic are from and based in Toronto, Canada.  Steve Puchalski is the songwriter/lyricist and came up with the band name when he stopped playing solo under his own name.

They released their debut self-titled LP in October of 2007.

They are not famous.... more indie and gaining notice.

as for their genre.... they don't really fit into one... they are very open to all sounds... but it fits into the Alt-country/folk-soul/experimental category.  they are very eclectic in sound, making them never boring.

along with steve on guitars and keys the band consists of

Jesse Laine (bass, keys etc, Chris Wheeler (guitars etc), Adam white (keys, vox) and Gavin Maguire (drums).
