Is Deron Williams not given enough credit?

The guy is as good as CP3 in my opinion. He hasn't been an all star yet and was a huge snub. I mean Brandon Roy is good and all but come on. Deron has better all around numbers and a better team record. In fact, last year Deron and Steve Nash had very similar numbers a level above Brandon Roy. This is coming from a Laker's fan but don't you think if Chris Paul was in the Mvp race should Deron have been as well?

Not to mention that Deron doesn't play as much defense as Chris Paul.And if you look at their numbers,Chris owns Deron in every category except for blocks,even more so in the playoffs.

underated yes, but that probably has  a lot to do with him playing for utah, hes one of the best in the nba, but better than cp3? noooooooo!!

ive seen them both play & i assure you cp3 is a one of a kind player, & will go down as one of the best ever if he stays healthy & is fortunate to have  good teamates, hes a dominant player like isiah thomas

Deron Williams is good as CP3 these days but the reason he was nto an all star is why...

1. During the middle half of the season he hasn't been doin so well.. Racking only 8 assists per game for a starting pg and 18ppg. Also creating about 3 turnovers per game.

2. Deron Williams had this soar on his backbone for quite awhile, which made him slip in the first place and made him uncapacble for all star.

3. Okur couldn't finish up his assists when Okur kept shooting outside 3's all the time.

4. Deron showed hsi true potential 4 months before the playoffs which was a little after the playoffs. Which then he racked up 19 ppg and 10 apg.

P.S. - the reason Brandon Roy was an all-star is ebcause he led his team to a 20-game winning streak without Greg Oden and some games without LaMarcus Aldridge. Plus he's only a 3 year pro same as CP3.

Deron is insane baller. He definitley deserves to be on the Western Conference All-Star team. He hasn't been getting enough credit and maybe after the 208 Olympic Games in Beijing, poeple will come to realize how special his talent really is and what his attributes can give to a team.

Yes! Although Kobe deserved the MVP Deron Williams put up just as good numbers as the other favorties, yet no one talked about him. I think that it's partly because he plays for the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are a young and upcomming team, and will start to become a very dangerous team in the next few years.
