  1. HERSH P is absolutely RIGHT.

MAHENDRA SINGH DHONI is very DOWN TO EARTH person.HE is the BEST CAPTAIN and a very, very GOOD HUMAN BEING.

  2. Virender Sehwag, had said that the team missed sourav.Sehwag, who was one of the crop of youngsters that flourished under Ganguly's captaincy.http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/inline/c...

"He [Ganguly] supported me a lot. He backed Yuvraj [Singh], Harbhajan [Singh], Ashish [Nehra], Ajit Agarkar, Mohammad Kaif," Sehwag told Press Trust of India. "He's in good form .It will be good if he gets back  he has got more than 10,000 one-day runs, 5,000 Test runs and 22 ODI hundreds. He  handles pressure very well and in tough situations he adjusts his game very quickly. Most of the time India won when he got a hundred. He is a fantastic player and sometimes we miss Ganguly." Sehwag also added that Ganguly was his favourite captain after Steve Waugh.Because he praised Sourav .Maybe that's why there  is this clash.

Sehwag said. "Yuvi is a good finisher and a match winner. he plays ball-by-ball.If he plays 50 balls,he will get 50 runs... he is very cool and calm.

DHONI DIDN'T SUDDENLY BRING SEHWAG, YUVI ,OR  BHAJJI .ALL YOU IDIOTS WHO  SUPPORT DHONI IN THE FACT THAT NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED THEN TELL DHONI TO AXE SEHWAG,YUVRAJ SINGH,BHAJJI ALSO,BECAUSE THEY WERE THE CROP OF YOUNGSTERS THAT FLOURISHED UNDER GANGULY'S CAPTAINCY HE HAS SUPPORTED THEM THRU OUT THEIR CAREER "YUVI HAS BEEN PLAYING SINCE 2000 AND IS QUITE AN EXPERIENCED PLAYER HIMSELF." SEHWAG 'S OPENING IS CRUCIAL TO SET IT UP......THEN YUVRAJ SINGH A HARD HITTER AND WHO IS MATCH WINNER FOR THE TEAM.TELL DHONI HE CANNOT WIN A MATCH WITHOUT THEM.

He has thrashed seniors like as if he was a pro.now he's trying to dominate experienced players like yuvi, sehwag.I  think his career might as well spiral down ,but only thing he's so hyped AND OVER-RATED,he has got a lot to learn from the seniors.

Hey CRYSTAL you're absolutely right!!What crystal said is  the PLAIN TRUTH for everybody to accept.

  3. Sounds like a conspiracy to me.

  4. shailesh u r stupid, india played 3 gms in a row, sehwag was rested, if sehwag was rested against pakistan thn it may hv been, but to make dat assessment against bangladesh u r stupid.

and the loser up who says india wont go anywhere under dhoni, i've never seen india play better than wut they are doin under dhoni

india won 20 20 world cup.....and shailesh f*g learn who was the captain on india's team in world cup b4 thrwoin c**p

and ange f*g dhoni is not in a slump form

    .

    .

nothing u have written makes any sense shailesh.  sehwag was rested and u r sayin thats cuz of dhoni's ego, LOLLLL cud u be any more ***. dhoni is the best captain i've seen after ganguly.  hes assertive and he has certain expectations from the team.  hes perfect as captain.  and abt him losin games...when he does then come talk here, otherwise keep ur dumb brain shut

  5. Shailesh first of all no one is above the law.

The law is that every one plays under Dhoni and if the man in charge has a problem with Sehwag than with out consideration Viru should be left out.

It is INDIAN cricket and Not child's play.

If it is a Q on discipline than Viru should never be in team but if he is rested than it is fine.

  6. It seems to be really hard to get the Indian to work as a team and not let the big egos get in the way.  When I learnt cricket it was always team first.  If you didn't like that then you could always play something else that didn't need cooperation between members. The Indian team seems to be consistently rocked by these sorts of spats.

  7. Basically Dhoni is not a good technical batsman. He knows that at any time he can go with bad patch. Again now all the players are playing well including sehwag and yuvi. He is just afraid about these duo. He also better knows, in anytime one of this duo can replace him. So he always plays a diplomatic relation with them.

  8. Yes this is not good for our team, I guess there were also some ego clashes between him and other seniors. I think he just cant tolerate any older player giving him suggestions.

I agree that he really has helped the team but he should understand that players like Sehwag have really helped the team more then him and they are really needed in the team. I guess after so many victories and the media attention he forgot that the team has to play for the country and not for him

Edit :- Shailesh I didn't know that you posted that question. Well it doesn't matter any more.

Yes I guess poeple can't see that Dhoni is not performing very good also it is that good team not Dhoni's good captaincy that's helping India. Its not the first time he is targetting the seniors, remember Dada his performnace was good in ODI's. Dhoni should understand that individual players together make the team

  9. no

  10. DHONI'S Ego has shooted above the maximum level.Ego at its peak:which will enable him to put as many pressure on seniors and kick them.imagine a newbie kicking a don bradman or sachin tendulkar outta the team. It's not all about putting pressure on the opposition, for dhoni its putting lots of pressure on senior players.Have heard or seen anything like this happening in australia, srilanka, southafrica??he has got a lot to learn from the seniors.

SUDDEN RISE TO FAME AND MONEY would have done it to him.he has issues with seniors,he doesn't want to feel inferior to seniors,if they are sent out ,then he is the boss there, people no longer would celebrate sachin, dravid and ganguly but dhoni!what dhoni says goes!He talks too much,he has become very arrogant! he likes people to talk more about him than others.he makes sure to be in the news always.

He has lot of issues with seniors.he knows onething that suppose he is taken off from his captain position,he will remain in team bcoz he is a wicket keeper.

hey, come on now he is in the position of a captain more powerful than before he can do whatever he wants,he can even kick sachin tendulkar off the team literally, still he will remain aftr doing so.sachin is in the team only because he has recommended dhoni for captaincy.if world class batsmen like him is in the team for this reason and not his experience you have to be on dhoni's good side... he is in the position of a captain more powerful than before.

DHONI'S COMMENTS on Seniors WERE INTENTIONAL to try and put pressure on senior players so that he can remove seniors players from test matches also..dhoni wants to make sure that when these seniors retire they should not be part of the team and that their retirement should look very ordinary.Pays them right for having issues with "DHONI".if you see only youngsters will be nervous in their debuts.dhoni made it a point that to put too much pressure on seniors before they are selected.but still they have proved their mettle and have remained in top form.Is dhoni in form now?oh yeah you mean that 100 vs HONG KONG.other than captaining he's isn't batting that well either.

He isn't a technical player himself and if has got doubts on players like sehwag, yuvi etc who are in top form??.He's egoistic and jealous mainly abt the fact that sehwag is in great form and raring to go.Just imagine what would happen to him if people start praising sehwag than him.he wants to put a stop to it.That's why he would do that to him.

what somdyuti has said here is the bare truth and she should get best answer!!!!!

  11. I think it has to do with 2 things..

    1..His over the top ego..

2..A big slump in his form at the moment..

There are a few more players who are performimg better than him at the moment..He is over rated and i think a lot of people are seeing it for them selves..

  12. Face it,..every winning captain can not necessarily be modest,... if so,.. those who really deserved to be "gentlemen of the game of cricket",.. has no great value,.. so be it,.. let him   be  a punter too,...some skippers cannot tolerate someone superior to himself in the team.~

    Lol

  13. India will get no where with him in charge. He is the core of all the problems

  14. this is not true  both  sehwag  and  praven  kumar are rested

  15. I believe it is. he needs to ditch the ego and be more team orientated. Teams don't win with just one person it takes a whole team to play well or in some cases lose well too, like the NZ Blacks Caps on the test scene..

  16. U cant believe everything the media says

  17. Yes, he has a big ego. As I always say, Dhoni is a better politician than a cricketer. His ultimate objective is to get rid of all players who are better than him. The first victims of his politics were the 2 most experienced and talented players-Ganguly and Dravid. Now, Dhoni is scared of Sehwag's terrific form, and fearing  that Sehwag might outshine him with his performance, he made a flimsy excuse to drop him from the side in the last match. The shrewd politician Dhoni cannot tolerate someone superior to himself in the team.

  18. It is difficult to say so. Just 'resting' Sehwag against Bangladesh, does not qualify to be called as an ego issue, as I see it. With Sehwag, Praveen Kumar was also rested even though he did fairly well against Pakistan and HK as well. Piyush Chawla was also rested who did well against HK, but failed against Pakistan. Moreover, Dhoni has criticised the tight schedule of Asia Cup in today's newspapers, so as to promote 'rotation-policy'.

But yes, Ganguly and Dravid's exit can be attributed to Dhoni to an extent. No doubt, they are brilliant cricketers, but new players like Raina, Gony, Ojha, Rohit, etc. have that 'killer-instinct', which was probably lacking in Ganguly and Dravid. I say probably. Just see how Raina responded when Pakistani bowlers were sledging against Raina that day. Moreover, Ganguly still does not know that while running home a batsman hs to drag his bat along the ground; even though he has so much experience, right?

  19. dont know.. internal matter of India

    A p**i

  20. It may be all media too. It also may just be that Sehwag was rested so a young player could be tested against Bangladesh.  But it is not all honky dory with them.

As for Dhoni, he IS a good Captain  along with his huge ego.
