I wouldn't call a salad diabolical, i would say an artists performance is diabolical.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how the salad tastes. Chances are Aunt Linda's three potato salad is very good.

closer to my mother's cooking, she cooks meat to the point of raw, her veggie boil for only an hour or so.

   This isn't out of Ripley's believe it or not but, one time she forgot to put some chili she made the day before in the fridge, the whole house stunk... my son, calls me into the kitchen (my mothers in the garden), he lifts the lid of a large pot and says, smell this mom, i nearly keeled over, i told him i smelled it coming in and thought someone had an accident and did not get to the washroom on time.

    He said, he argued with her that it was bad and that he was not going to eat it.

     My mother came in and we took her to the kitchen, i told her that the chili was definately bad, she said she did not think so, smelled it and ate a spoon of it, then said well maybe...!!!!

     So if i were you, i would be darn greatful for aunt Linda's patato salad, diabolical or not we could always trade.
