Is Dimetikon (norwegian) and Simethicone the same drug?

I think it's dimeticone in english. Minifom is the product that contains it.

  1. Dimeticone (Dimetikon): A mixture of dimethicone and SILICA GEL used as an antiflatulent. Dimethicone is used as an ointment base ingredient and skin protectant.

    The structure differs from Simethicone, lack of silicon dioxide.

    Simethicone, is an oral anti-foaming agent used to reduce bloating, discomfort and pain caused by excess gas in the stomach or intestinal tract. It is a mixture of polydimethylsiloxane and silica gel.

    They are both very closely related drugs.
