Is Dingle located IN Toxteth, Liverpool or is it Dingle located just OUTSIDE of Toxteth?

I'm just trying to determine whether or not Beatles member Ringo Star was born in Toxteth or not.. According to Wikipedia, Ringo was born in Dingle (which i think is in Toxteth isn't it??)

Dingle is next to Toxteth.Two seperate areas in Liverpool but next to each other

yer ste b is right, dingle and toxteth are next to each other, but distinct and separate.

Well, my mum was born and raised in Dingle and according to her Dingle is in Toxteth, it's all part of Liverpool 8 and the house Ringo was born in in Madryn Street before moving to Admiral Grove is always referred to as being in Toxteth's welsh streets.
