Is Disneyland giving out anything to park visitors this year on July 17th, 2008 ( Disneyland's Birthday ) ?

I think, last time I was there, the park people randomly gave out things like free fast-passes to use any time of the day. It wasn't on their birthday, although I'm sure they would on the birthday!

They might give out a very small thing, saying it's the anniversay. For the 50th anniversary they did, to my belief.

They did have collectors items, like probably pins saying it's the 53rd anniversay, so yeah

It is doubtful that it would be anything major if at all.   This is not a milestone year(53rd birthday).  In the past they had cupcakes at the restaurants, but I can't remember if I saw them the last couple of years since the 50th.

They will probably have a special Pin for sale but in terms of merchandise that is about all I would expect.

You can probably count on at least a small celebration.  There will probably one at opening and a replaying of Walt Disney's dedication speech.  There may even be some of the Exec's making a speech or announcement or two.

As to what the other answers were talking about, they are talking about the Year of a Million Dreams promotion where they randomly give out things such as Dream Fastpasses, Mouse Ears, Lanyards.  But it is every day until the end of the year and is unrelated to Disneyland's birthday.
