Is Dubai a Muslim run country?

My wife and I are considering moving to Dubai, possibly. We're kinda mulling it over right now.

We are wondering if the government of Dubai is a Muslim run government? Does the government follow Sharia Law?

Well it is run by Muslims and the Westerners are tolerated as long as they do not go about miss behaving in public. You will be asked to be decent but should you reuse then like any other nation the police have to make you obey the law.PS they are not as strict as the sharia law. But you can not swim nude on the beach or have s*x on the beach.
