Is Dubai very racist?

Question

How do they treat different types of people?

I hear they are racist towards non-Muslims. How would they treat a white non-Muslim or a non-Emirati Muslim? Are they also racist towards the Asians (like Indian, Pakistanis etc)?

I need serious answers. I am not here to bash Dubai or it's people. I think Dubai is the most beautiful city in the world. I just want to know if they are racist or something. Only serious answer please.

Dubai is not racist against non-Muslims and the biggest example to that you can find churches and temples etc.

It is certainly not racist to Non-emirati Muslims, or non-Muslims from the first place, because we as Emiratis being a minority in our OWN country we will not be vastly outnumbered if people from other backgrounds experienced racial slurs!  

It is very multicultural, people from different religions, backgrounds, nationalities and ethnic groups... There is no hate directed to a certain group of people. Just like everybody else, people earn their respect when they show respect for themselves and others around them.

Actually from what I hear they are very nice ...as long as you respect them There is alot of foriegn workers in the country !

now they are not racist at all. i have been there twice while i was in the navy. we went out in town and they love americans. also my mom is indian and my dad is pakistain they are cool with that. most of the people there come from india and pakistain to work there. i loved it and i can't wait to go back there. i would like to move and live there.

how is it racist hehe..im a british arab wnet to dubai two yyears ago..and didnt spot even one arab--and would challenge u to find one too

it is not racist in the sense to colour of skin

however i feel they are not very understanding of other cultures

you have to remeber though that the bulk of the population is immigrants so no they are not racist
