  1. dublin is a big city.. not a town so just be as wary as u wud be in any big city. its not mainly irish people there. lots of foreigners... ive had my bag stolen there once. i hate dublin city centre its c**p. go to the west of ireland. soooo much nicer.

  2. Just like any other city, it's safe as long as you use common sense.

  3. firstly "krystalk..." what had your answer got to do with anything???

    now to your question

well Dublin is more than a town it's a big city

just use your common sense and don't  go down any unwelcoming looking allies and you'll be fine

i've been living in Dublin all my life and nothing has ever happened to me

  4. just stay away from the nackers

  5. If your talking about the suburbs like Lucan yeh.

If your talking about the city centre not late at night or early in the morning.

I'm from Dublin and nothing bad ever happened to me.

  6. Well Dublin is safe, here is some practical advice though,

    1) try stay away from large groups of guys wearing hoods, they will try rob your runners

    2) dont go down dark alley ways at night, same as with any country

    3) dont venture into estates around Dublin that have burnt out card, for obvious reasons

    4) Generally Dublin is safe at night cuz it does be as packed as during the day with ppl clubbing + going pubs.

    5) if you're alone at night try not to flash your fancy new phone around

    6) if confronted by a little scumbag say in a big Dublin accent 'relax mate, were all buds here, have a f*g'

    7) Pretty much enjoy yourself, you probably wont get killed, just watch the roads on Connolly street, there is no distinction between path + roads + getting hit by a double decker isnt fun.

Oh and dont be taking all this seriously ^^ its really not all that bad.

  7. ITs a great city. Just like any other city it has its meanys! The drunks are usually funny. People are usually nice to strangers.

Just remember your common sense and you will have a great time!

  8. yep just follow common sense. dont walk around flaunting your money. dont act too much like a tourist. stay on well lit streets at night. youll be fine. i found it awesome and the people friendly but there are always predators anywhere you go

  9. it's a fairly big city.the city centre is fine, just don't go down dodgy back alleys.there are a few "undesirable" areas that you should avoid, but mainly the people are friendly.overall, there's not much crime and it's safe

  10. The safest town in Ireland is Galway.
