  1. its like about 30 minutes drive from the city centre, its in an area called Glasnevin, which is a pretty decent place

    DCU is one of the most popular choices along with University College Dublin and Trinity.

    www.dcu.ie will probably be able to help you a bit more than me :D


  2. it is in a good area and accommodation around there is probably a bit more affordable than if you were looking for somewhere closer to Trinity or UCD. My brother did mechanical engineering in DCU and absolutely loved it. Great university and good student life. I myself go to Trinity, but my second choice on choosing colleges was DCU.

    Without sounding trying to up my college, Trinity is much more recognised worldwide than DCU. It all really depends on what you're planning on studying etc etc
