Is Dublin good to go?

I'll be workless on november.....and I'm thinking about going to Dublin to study and work....i have to do something before starting college on aug. 2009...among all the cities dublin was the best offer......what do u guys tell me? =) any advice?

im irish and i HATE IT sometimes i went to dublin on feb 20th my wifes and i had an annervisery so i tought id bring er for the day, you know go see a play have a romantic meal and all that with in 10 minutes of getting off the train and on to the lusis anc off the lusis i was attacked and all the police could say to me was "did you hurt the man" WHAT!!! HE ATTACKED ME!!!!

DUBLIN IS NICE IF YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO but its not all you see on tv. Just be carefull.

Dublin is a fantastic place. Been many times. Temple Bar is great for pubs and bars - loadsa music (proper music more than that mind-numbing c**p you find everywhere else). Trinity College is a fab place as well.

yes dublin is a great city to study....but with the slight recession there are not many jobs going....and you aint taking mine......

Wonderful cosmopolitan city -- but expensive.
