Is Déjà vu a sight into the cycle?

Could Déjà vu be visions/feelings of what we did in a past cycle of time and will continue to do in the next? Does time flow in a circle? or a straight line? I was hanging out with a friend and experienced Déjà vu, normally I don't think too much of it but this time was different. "In this experience I tripped and knocked over my friends glass lamp." I shouted f**k and my friends turned around quickly to see what was wrong and he hit the same lamp and it broke. it felt like it had happened before, then it did, only it wasn't me that knocked it over this time. What do you make of this people of yahoo?

but to be more serious i dont think time goes in a cycle, sure a LOT of things repeat or many people have deja vu but i think theres something else that causes it...
