Is Ebay getting unpopular these days with sellers and buyers?

Haven't bought or sold for a while and just wondering ~ Seems like there is 75% fewer listings than there were a year and a half ago...

Although the numbers are not readily available, I seriously doubt that there are fewer listings now than a year ago. Every quarter, eBay reports a higher profit that last quarter, and that doesn't happen with reduced listings.

I agree that eBay is becoming a real annoyance. But the truth is, there simply is no other marketplace on the internet that comes anywhere close to what eBay can offer in terms of exposure and sales. I've tried most of the others, and have never done 5% of the business that I routinely do on eBay.

So, the wise businessman swallows his pride and anger and stays with eBay... and just goes on making money!! After all… that’s what we’re in this for, right??

There are too many stories about people getting scammed or not getting what was advertised....it makes me a little nervous to buy anything on Ebay simply because I don't want to end up with a black market version of whatever I need...

the whole thing here is about a lot of people who get scammed on these sites. Scams are a real problem now and these Ebay guys need to do something about it. Nevertheless I am not so sure about the statistics mentioned as concerns listings on Ebay..
